Application Process

Indianhead International School admits students based on requirements set out by the Korean Education Board. Students are admitted to Indianhead International School without regard to gender, religion or ethnic background. The school does reserve the right to refuse admission based on previous academic performance, disciplinary record, and/or significant periods of absence from school for reasons other than long-term illness. The school is unable to provide services to students with special needs.

The following is the procedure for application for admissions to Indianhead International School.

Application Process for Parents

  1. Parents should make initial contact with Indianhead International School to request an admissions package. This may be done by

  2. After initial contact is made, the IIS Admissions Coordinator sends parents an admissions package.

  3. Parents read through the admissions package carefully and use the checklist to help them complete it accurately. Incomplete applications cause delays to the admission process.

  4. Upon receipt of the completed IIS Application for Admission, the Admission Coordinator schedules a placement test and school tour. Parents should schedule at least one hour for their child to complete the placement test.

  5. The Admission Committee reviews the application and placement test.

  6. The Admissions Coordinator informs parents of the application results.

  7. The Admissions Coordinator arranges an appointment for successful candidates with the Admissions Counselor for placement in the school. New student schedules are finalized.

  8. The Admissions Coordinator works with the new students to ensure he/she has a smooth transition into the school.

*Please note that inactive online applications are deleted after two weeks.
