Indianhead International School believes that the opportunity for participation in a variety of activities is a vital part of a student's educational experience. Such participation is a privilege that carries with it responsibilities to the school, to the activity, to the student body, to the community and to the students themselves. These experiences contribute to the development of learning skills and emotional patterns that enable the student to make maximum use of his or her education.
The fundamental purpose of the Athletic Program is to extend the education of students through extra-curricular activities. Our program's aim is to promote and supplement the regular curricular program of the school.

Participants in all athletic must maintain satisfactory academic records, good conduct, sportsmanship and citizenship. Students/athletes must also meet all Indianhead eligibility requirements.
ndianhead International School is a full member of KAIAC (Korean American Interscholastic Activities Conference) Division 2 where it competes in three major sports, volleyball, basketball and soccer. At the end of each season, our teams have opportunities to participate in Far East tournaments, hosted by schools in Korea and Japan.
While we encourage all students to participate in our school athletics program, it is essential that the planning of such participation include realistic consideration of the time involved. We must be aware that an overextended student can have an adverse effect on the individual involved, his/her academic program, as well as fellow activity participants and sponsors/coaches. The athletics program stresses commitment and discipline from all its participants.
